Caiti's 14th Birthday - Party Details

If you came last year, you'll know where to go. If not, I've got directions and a link below.

We'll be having karaoke again, pizza & cake. It will be pretty cold, so either dress in layers or dress really warm! We are going to try and have a fire to roast marshmallows and make s'mores, but don't know for sure if weather will permit.

If you are a Dalton native you know there are a hundred ways to get to Crow Valley Road. If you know where Dr. Chung's house is, this barn is right beside it. If not, then bare with me.

Coming from I-75 NB turn L onto Hwy 41/76 (North Bypass).

  1. Turn R on Willowdale Road

  2. Take first L onto Crow Valley Road

  3. Follow for 2.7 miles before coming to a T intersection w/Poplar Springs Rd.

  4. Turn L to stay on Crow Valley Road

  5. Driveway to the barn will be about 1 mile further on your left (the pic below should help).

  6. We will have a BRIGHT sign and pumpkin on the fence post. Luckily some folks have a semi-circle drive just past it in case you need to turn around. ;)

Whit!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Whitney!!!

Happy Birthday to my very best friend, my sister, soul mate, partner in grime that is only found at the cream of the sign.

I will always stand by you through thick & pretty weight to battle back the torch carrying loony tards that rise up from the swamps of Anderlusia on the backs of Camel Crickets who stalk towards the piers of Salem with only our ruination in mind.

I assure you, no matter the trials, tribulation & stress placed upon us by various members of the 'Y' chromosome series - I've got ya back baby!

(You know, Rock Spring really isn't all that far from Villanow!)

left work...

... So I get home early. You may wonder why I want to go home early, especially since I don't get paid for time I am not at work (just not that lucky). Well, it has to do with a particulary special little 8 year old girl who will turn 9 tomorrow.
:) There is still the cake to pick up, as well as other nicky-nacky things that you just don't think about until the last minute. Plastic silverware, cookies, etc.
Plus, I love being a slacker. I am still also in the middle of that awesome book I am reading and want to read as much as possible. I feel like I know these people and cannot stand the horrible things that are happening to them. It seems as though they have the very worst luck of anyone, ever - but I think it's really just the state of India at the time. It's set during the 1975 Emergency, where the prime minister revoked the constitution and declared the country in a state of Emergency. She was later assassinated.

shifting = boredom

There is nothing happening today at work. Our fearless leader bought a new house, so he, his wife & kids, and another girl that works in the office are all participating in the puja. So that leaves the non-Hindu folk to stay at work, but I think all of our customers know the others aren't here because the phone hasn't rang.

Bear is in Daytona for the last 5 days of bike week, I've got my 8 year old's birthday party planned for tomorrow and another one on Sunday. So I've got a busy weekend planned, but no real partner in crime. :(

Oh - My friend Archu came back, and since nothing is happening, I can go home early!! More later!! :)
