Wed, July 1, 2009 at 13:45 ok, second verse, same as the first. my second attempt at this, hopefully firefox combined with crappy crappy work pc will hold out for me this time. First flaw found with SquareSpace - no auto saving of draft.
it seems like I've posted already here this week, but lack of said post proves me wrong. I'm dead bored at work, and I have ONE more day of this exact same thing before I head off to Stone Mountain w/Caiti & Jase for a little mini-vacation.
Caiti is leaving for her trip on Tuesday, making a tour beginning in Auckland, New Zealand, including many parts of Australia and spending 3 days in Honolulu before heading back to LAX, and finally coming home. w00t!! I am so thrilled she's going, and I've got her set up with funds, huge memory card for her camera so I'll get lots of beautiful shots. Hopefully I'll also get a few keepsakes to remember this monumental trip. :)
Of course, she's my baby and I'm nervous about that. She's leaving the country, visiting 3 places which rank in my top 5 places I've wanted to go, ever. The other two are Vegas and MOVE to Oregon.
If you've read any of my blog, or shared conversations with me on twitter, then you know I don't always believe in capitalization, especially in cases where its there more as definition of beginning a sentence. Now, in all my professional communications, and usually personal as well when I don't know the part I am communicating with, I adhere to strict usage of all things right with grammar, punctuation, capitalization, etc. But on my blog, or in tweets, I don't. That's because when I reached the age of majority, I had long ago decided, I would write the way I see fit. I am not getting graded on it. I prefer to sign my name all lowercase, and usually that's the way you'll see me do anywhere online. I just never liked capital Hs and that's most likely due to how many times I was made to repeat them while learning "cursive" in elementary school. Both my first and last name began with H and I've just never been able to produce one I felt was pretty enough. My lower case hs are the bomb though.
That's enough of grammatically correct heather. On to the show...
